Enter the south-west part of China, remount the time and the roads of Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi, explore the least known of the regions’s minority people with their amazing costumes and tribal tradition, be enchanted by the nice senery of the terraced fields.

Day 1 Kunming
Arrive Kunming. Free time for visit the “Spring city’: the flower market–a charming area of teahouses and small boutiques selling handicrafts and beautiful local paintings.

Day 2 Kunming — Jianshui
Jianshui boasts a long history, rich culture and many famous sites of scenic and historic
interest. Visit the confucius Temple the 2nd largest Confucius temple in China, Chaoyang Gate in this old city of Ming Dynasty, Double Dragon Bridge, Private Garden of the Zhu Family.

Day 3 Jianshui — Yuanyang
Stop at Tuanshan village, visit Zhang Family’s residence, then drive to Yuanyang region, where the Hani and the Yi people live.

Day 4 Yuanyang
Appreciate the magnificent terraced fields, which have been built by Hani people since 1000 years ago. visit the Hani villages situated among the terraced fields.

Day 5 Yuanyang — Jinping
Jinping region is near the border bewteen China and Vietnam, different minority people as Hmong, Yao, Dai, Hani and Yi live here. Discover Yao and Dai villages.

Day 6 Jinping — Lunan
Discover the local ethnic villages.(Hani, Hmong.)

Day 7 Lunan — Xingyi
Excursion to Lunan and visit the ‘Stone Fores’ (Shilin). Driving to Xingyi.

Day 8 Xingyi — Zhenfeng
Admire pure Buyi customs and stone villages. Discover Back Miao village.

Day 9 Zhenfeng — Liuzhi
Across the big gorge of Huajiang, and enjoy its marvelous view. Appreciate the Huangguoshu waterfall, 81m wide and 74m high, one of the famous falls in the world.

Day 10 Liuzhi — Guiyang
Discover the Long Horn Miao (Hmong) in Suoga village. Appreciate their fantastic hairstyle and batik daily dress made in home by them. Discover the old Han Chinese in stone castle, and appreciate the Ground Opera. They are the descendants of soldiers from today’s Nanjing east of china in Ming dynasty. Opera used to the Beijing style was also brought to Guizhou together.

Day 11 Guiyang — KailI
Visit Jiaxiu Pavilion which is the symbol of Guiyang city, with a long history of more than 400 years. Walk along the Nanming river to discover the Flowers and Birds market. Discover the Gejia village, Gejia, classified as a subgroup of Miao just in ten years, specialize in exquisite batik making.

Day 12 Kaili — Rongjiang
Long Skirt Miao in Qing Shui river valleys and Black Miao in Mountain, admiring their beautiful costumes and unique architecture on slope area. appreciate marvelous landscape of Leigong Mountain, which is the national nature reserve zone. Enjoy Dong people in Chejiang and huge banyan trees on the side of river.

Day 13 Rongjiang — Zhaoxing
Discover Basha Miao. Known as the No1 primitive village, Basha has been in such view for hundreds of years that very one is in indigo garment every day and every man, always holding a gun or knife, has the hairstyle of ancient warrior. Later in afternoon, discover the biggest Dong village in the world with almost one thousand households and there after enjoy the polyphonic singing which is exclusively only from Dong and a treasure for Dong too.

Day 14 Zhaoxing — Chengyang
Discover more about Dong. Appreciate the ecological museum founded by Norway government in Tang’an and then visit Diping roofed bridge more than 100 years old, the most delicate one in Guizhou. Continue to see Chengyang roofed bridge, the biggest one in Guangxi.

Day 15, Chengyang — Guilin
Appreciate Longji terraced fields and visit Ping’an Zhuang village.

Day 16 Departure from Guilin.
